Seat Company will soon go into production Electrocar, created in explanation of the concept car IBe, the world premiere of which took place at the Geneva Motor Show . Release of such a car will become part of the development in Spain, environmentally friendly transport, but the precise timing of commodity IBe on the line is not yet known. It is reported by the British publication Autocar citing its own sources in the "Seat".
Prototype Seat IBe, built on the base model of Ibiza, is equipped with an electric power of 68 horsepower, which is powered by a set of lithium-ion batteries, located in the rear of the car. It is worth noting that such a return of the engine is achieved only with a uniform motion of the car to increase the distance run, and in case of power may need to increase to 102 horsepower. Cruising concept car is 130 kilometers.
According to the Seat company, from zero to 50 kilometers per hour IBe can accelerate to 3.4 seconds, and up to a hundred kilometers per hour - for 9.4 seconds. Maximum speed - 160 kilometers per hour.
