The Mercedes-Benz presented the new R-Class

The Mercedes-Benz presented the new R-Class.jpg    At the auto show in New York will be the world premiere facelifted version of the premium minivan-crossover Mercedes-Benz R-Class. However, the first photos of new items have been published by some U.S. media even before the opening of the exhibition.

    The new R-Class was completely redesigned front end - a new hood, grille, fenders and headlamps complex form, as well as the other bumper and LED "foglights". Changes in the cabin
a few: new materials and more stylish graphics devices. As before, Mercedes-Benz R-Class will be available in six-and seven-seater in the execution.
    There are two Motors announced on - six-cylinder petrol, power 268 horsepower, and three-liter turbodiesel that develops 210 power and 540 Nm of torque. As an option will be available all-wheel drive.

   Mercedes-Benz R-Class is available from 2005 - it is built on a common platform with the SUVs ML and GL, and was initially used primarily for the North American market. But for the first two years in country was sold about 23 thousand "al-classes", and after restyling brought forward a model in 2007, demand for the minivan-crossover continued to decline: in 2009, was sold less than 3000 cars.
