Schumacher and Rosberg made a presentation Mercedes SLS F1

  The parquet floor of the Geneva Motor Show a new pace car, rolled out Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg.

  Designed to replace the SL 63 AMG, which was used as the Safety Car, in the seasons 2008 and 2009, SLS AMG even more suited to its direct function in the class of Formula-1.


  In general, Mercedes SLS F1 changed the exhaust system, a new muffler, redesigned aerodynamic body and a carbon fiber hood.

  In the lounge there are six-point seat belts, two monitors, enabling full coverage of what is happening on the track and radio, allowing to talk with the organizers of the race.

  Despite the above changes, the safety car has the same gearbox, suspension, braking system, and that the serial version of the SLS AMG. This means that the mark of 100 km / h is reached in 3.8 seconds, with a maximum speed of 317 km / h.

  New Safety Car Mercedes SLS F1 to appear on March 12 at the Grand Prix of Bahrain.
