Since defects of Toyota will understand NASA

National Aerospace Agency Administration (NASA) in conjunction with the National Academy of Sciences will hold a series of studies to help understand the impact of electromagnetic radiation on-board electronics cars. According Detnews.com, these tests will identify the possible cause of sudden acceleration of Toyota, from which the Japanese automaker was forced to withdraw nearly nine million cars.
In the company's Toyota, meanwhile, once again emphasize that the unintended acceleration of vehicles is not associated with them electronically. The reason for
the acceleration of cars, according to Japanese experts, can be either a mechanical defect of the pedal itself (and therefore under a service campaign Toyota dealers change the pedal on the new ones), or a problem with the salon carpet at the foot of the driver who can lock down the pedal.
At the same time representatives of Toyota note that supports the desire of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration USA (NHTSA) to conduct additional studies. "We hope that research will prove us right, as well as providing new evidence for the consumers and the automotive industry as a whole. We will provide researchers with all the support" - the official statement says the Japanese manufacturer.
According to representatives of NHTSA, the new studies will understand how to affect electromagnetic radiation, including increased solar activity, the work of automobile electronic systems. The program will run for 15 months, and its financing plan to spend about three million dollars - money will be used including the purchase of cars for the tests.
