The administration of U.S. President has submitted its plan to introduce a new standard for the maximum fuel consumption in cars, says The Detroit News.
As the newspaper writes, in 1469-page report, the agency on road safety and the environment, from 2016, the average fuel consumption of cars in the U.S. soil would be about 6.9 liters per 100 km. As the newspaper writes, is a more acceptable figure for automakers than the energy law signed by President Bush in 2007.
