Sports concept car Citroen debuted in Geneva

  At the Geneva Motor Show the company introduced a sports version of the Citroen concept car Revolte, which was first introduced in September last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Appearance Revolte was created in explanation of the legendary model 2CV, dubbed "The Ugly Duckling", and design a new prototype called Survolt became more aggressive. The machine has started aerodynamic body kit with large spoilers, air intakes and extended wheel arches.


  Overall length of the prototype two-seater rear-wheel drive Citroen Survolt is 3,85 meters, width - 1,87 m and height - 1,2 meters. For comparison, the new 65 and 150 millimeters respectively, longer and wider than the sports car Lotus Exige S, but slightly higher and shorter than the model Exige coupe Audi TT.

   Official information about the technical stuffing Citroen concept car at the moment are not reported, but it is known that the car is equipped with a 270-horsepower electric motor, powered by batteries located in the front and rear, and between the axles.

   Note that Citroen Revolte packaged with a hybrid power plant, which allows the car to move as a pure electric, and using the internal combustion engine.

   As stated in Frankfurt representatives of the French automaker, serial production of such vehicles as Revolte, is not yet possible because the range of marks for it simply has no place.
